Gulfside’s staff is opening their resources to those who are interested when it comes to the recruiting process. The college recruiting process can be a very stressful time and so many kids are over-looked purely because these collegiate coaches don’t know about them. Connor Perry, president of Gulfside Baseball, has gone through the recruiting process multiple times. Through his experience playing baseball at the highest levels, it allowed him to connect and network himself in the baseball world. Through zoom meetings, he wants to share his knowledge to young athletes that are pursuing their dreams. Topics covered will be: consulting the athlete of their skill set, how to set up the correct email to send to coaches, how to have the right conversations with coaches, and how to use correct language when talking to coaches. If needed, video can be taken of your athlete to put on these emails. Everything necessary to educate not only the athlete, but also the parents of what it takes to earn a college spot at the next level. These services do not guarantee a certain scholarship to a certain University. But what we can guarantee is to put your athlete in the BEST spot possible to have an opportunity to play at the next level. Coach Perry really helped kickstart my recruitment process. Going into it, I had been talking to a few schools but nothing major. Coach Perry showed me how to talk to schools and how to get them interested in me. Coach Perry made sure that I was prepared for every situation throughout the recruiting process and constantly checked in to see how it was going. He really helped me to understand the ins and outs of the recruiting process and give me the best opportunity to succeed. - Present Day D1 player. You were always a great personality to be around and created a good atmosphere. Your help in the recruiting process was absolutely amazing and I’m glad I was able to pick up and learn a lot of things about the process from you. I’m glad to have played under you and learned from you. Really grateful for your help with talking to college coaches and calling them on my behalf to facilitate opportunities for me as well.
